Tomando como ejemplo el diagrama siguiente, el valor de intensidad luminosa m\u00e1xima de la curva de distribuci\u00f3n luminosa es de 12 889 cd. He dividido el rango de intensidad en diez segmentos iguales. Por lo tanto, la posici\u00f3n de la intensidad 50% corresponde al c\u00edrculo del quinto segmento. El \u00e1ngulo formado entre la l\u00ednea que une el punto de intersecci\u00f3n del c\u00edrculo del quinto segmento con la curva de distribuci\u00f3n luminosa y el origen es el \u00e1ngulo de media intensidad.
